Our parish is a vibrant community, with a programme of worship, faith development and many activities.

Our history

The Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Braintree was founded in 1939. It is believed to be the last church to be opened before the outbreak of the Second World War. The Presbytery on The Avenue followed in 1953.

Visiting

The church is on The Avenue, Braintree (CM7 3HY), in a conservation area, and has full disabled facilities. We are part of the North Essex deanery of the Diocese of Brentwood.
